On this special evening, Rally Round Music presents, Spoken Dub, the musical artform that reinforces the unity of a scattered people will be on full display at Sankofa Video Books & Cafe. This unique blended musical form metaphorically reverses the triangular slave trade by uniting our people through the familiarity of the artistic genius of Africans who found themselves on the African Continent, The Caribbean and the USA. Spoken Dub is not choreographed and is entirely driven by spirit and impromptu creativity. On the mic will feature Heru Spoken Dub, acclaimed spoken word poet, on guitar will feature Blues maestro Muata and on the dub console will be Lybia'Sun featuring the music of Bambu Station. This is for the community, the Pan Africanists, organizers and one's who been fighting the "Good Fight" for us over the decades.
