This is a gathering of the genres all in fire for the culture. Also appearing will be Special Guests the multi-faceted, Jah-I-Witness along with the vibes of the heaviest selector in Washington, DC, Radio Andy.

This inaugural Reggae Music: God's Gift Conference will focus on Politics, Love & the Soul Stirring of Roots Reggae music. Saturday will be a day long conference and gathering of the Village to discuss, highlight and celebrate the importance of such content and lyrics in Roots Reggae music. The conference will feature panel discussions with noted Reggae scholars and luminaries, Dj music sessions, performing artists, vegan cuisine and a cultural arts & crafts Village. Admission: Free

Reggae Music Conference | Proverbs Reggae Band

This Friday evening starts the inaugural Reggae Music: Gift To Humanity Conference. The evening will being with a heartical Dj Roots Session with DJ Gino, a segment featuring great spoken word artists including Abena Disroe, Sista Kim Bey, Heru Ofori - Atta, and Bambu Station's Jalani Horton. The evening will conclude with DC's own mighty Proverbs Reggae Band. An evening not to be missed, a weekend sure to be remembered. Admission: $20
